In the early morning hours of Sept. 7, fire destroyed a Church meetinghouse under construction in North Las Vegas, Nev. The building, in the Las Vegas Nevada Highland Hills Stake, was five months into construction.
There were no injuries in the fire, caused by arson. An investigation into the fire is underway, but as of press time Sept. 28 no arrests had been made.
"It was a two-alarm fire and a total loss," said Stake President Todd Moody. "Even the concrete pad will have to be replaced."
