Silas William and Mabel Moody Hankins Bradshaw

Married Feb. 14, 1929, in Dallas, Texas, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They saw the Church grow from a small branch to two stakes in the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas. He was branch president, elders quorum president and high councilor and she was Relief Society president and Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed doing needlework and making ceramics, and he enjoyed gardening. They lived in Texas until 1952, when they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where they remained until retiring. Now members of the Pine Bluff Ward, Little Rock Arkansas Stake, they are parents of two daughters and have 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
