Wendell G. Eames, 83, president of the Washington D.C. Temple from 1978-1983, died March 10, 2001, in Logan, Utah. President Eames also served as a counselor in the temple presidency, and as president of the Washington D.C. Stake and bishop of the Washington (D.C.) Ward.

R. Donald Livingstone, 84, president of the England South Mission from 1973-1974 and the England London South Mission from 1974-1976, died March 9, 2001, in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was a director of public communications for the Church in Canada, a regional representative for Southern Alberta, a stake president's counselor and bishop.
