New mission presidents

Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service about July 1.

Arnold Roger Augustin, 60, and Della Kathleen Cook Augustin, five children, Texas Lubbock Mission; Bountiful 45th Ward, Bountiful Utah East Stake. He is a former counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in a stake Sunday School presidency, stake missionary, high councilor, bishop, high priest group leader, gospel doctrine teacher and ward mission leader. Director in public affairs, Corporation of the President. Born in Vallejo, Calif., to Arnold Roger and LaVerne Barbara Baker Augustin.

Sister Augustin is a former counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, Relief Society president and counselor, Young Women president and counselor and Primary president. Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Doyle and Beth France Cook.

Michael Lee Kezerian, 54, and Sandra Lee Peterson Kezerian, five children, New Zealand Wellington Mission; Hillcrest 6th Ward, Orem Utah Hillcrest Stake. He serves as a counselor in a stake presidency and is a former high councilor, bishop, counselor in a bishopric, Young Men president, elders quorum president and missionary in the California Los Angeles Mission. Director of international sales, UPS. Born in Murray, Utah, to Reed Herand and Renee Peterson Kezerian.

Sister Kezerian serves as a counselor in a Primary presidency and is a former stake Young Women camp director, counselor in a Relief Society presidency, Young Women president and Primary president. Born in Provo, Utah, to Richard K. and Marilyn Nuttal Peterson.

David Carlton Martino, 57, and Barbara "Deanie" Gilton Martino, four children, Philippines Angeles Mission; Aubrey Ward, Denton Texas Stake. He serves as a counselor in the Texas Fort Worth Mission presidency and is a former counselor in a stake presidency, stake Young Men president, high councilor, bishop, elders quorum president, Scoutmaster, seminary teacher and missionary in the Italy North Mission. Self-employed entrepreneur. Born in Denton, Texas, to Frank Nilson and Betty Jean Newman Martino.

Sister Martino serves as a ward missionary and is a former counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, family history consultant, activities committee chairman, Young Women president, Relief Society president, Young Women adviser and seminary teacher. Born in Morrilton, Ark., to Albert Sidney Gilton and Ada Idella Minton Gilton Corgatelli.

Gregory John Newell, 61, and Candilyn Jones Newell, six children, Sweden Stockholm Mission; Foothill Ward, Provo Utah Edgemont North Stake. He serves as a bishop and is a former high councilor, high priest group leader, Sunday School president, gospel doctrine teacher, Young Men president and missionary in the France-Belgium Mission. President, ICDC. Born in Geneseo, Ill., to Eugene Earl and Ima Delores Stamper Newell.

Sister Newell serves as a Primary chorister and is a former gospel doctrine teacher, music chairman, Sunday School teacher, counselor in a Primary presidency, counselor in a Young Women presidency, Young Women adviser and a counselor in a Relief Society presidency. Daughter of Samuel John and Sherry Lee Jones of Provo, Utah.

Franck André Poznanski, 47, and Véronique Perney Poznanski, five children, France Paris Mission; Angers Ward, Angers France Stake. He serves as a counselor in the France Paris Mission and is a former counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, bishop, elders quorum president, seminary teacher and missionary in the Tahiti Papeete Mission. Coordinator, Church Educational System. Born in Lorient, France, to Jean-Pierre and Monique Piel-Desruisseaux Poznanski.

Sister Poznanski serves as a ward Relief Society president and is a former stake and ward Young Women president, Primary president, seminary and institute teacher and missionary in the France Paris Mission. Born in Dijon, France, to Jean-Jacques and Iréne Stoll Perney.

Roberto Bayobo Querido, 47, and Elsie Villegas Querido, five children, Philippines Olongapo Mission; Sumulong 1st Ward, Marikina Philippines Stake. He serves as a counselor in the Philippines Missionary Training Center and is a former regional welfare agent, counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in the Philippines Naga Mission, high priest group leader and missionary in the Philippines Baguio Mission. Institute director/coordinator, Church Educational System. Born in Naga City, Philippines, to Alfredo Doce and Ernesta Bayobo Querido.

Sister Querido serves as a counselor in the Relief Society presidency at the Philippines Missionary Training Center and is a former counselor in a Relief Society presidency, Young Women president, counselor in a Primary presidency, seminary teacher and missionary in the Philippines Davao Mission. Born in Silay City, Negros, Philippines, to Leonardo Gregory and Irene Magbanua Villegas.

Lehi Karl Schwartz, 59, and Gudrun Bauch Schwartz, four children, Germany Frankfurt Mission; Feucht Ward, Nürnberg Germany Stake. He serves as a missionary in the Germany Berlin Mission and is a patriarch. He is a former counselor in a district presidency, branch president and counselor in a branch presidency. Retired managing director of Radiodiagnostic Business Line, IBA-Group Belgium. Born in Lahm Itzgrund, Germany, to Karol Pfeiffer and Leokadia Grünke Schwartz.
