Counselor called to Young Men general presidency

Brother Randall L. Ridd has been called to serve as the second counselor in the Young Men general presidency. He replaces Elder Adrian Ochoa, who was called during the recent general conference to the Second Quorum of the Seventy.

Brother Ridd was serving as a member of the Young Men General Board at the time of his call to serve as a counselor. He brings to the general presidency a wealth of experience working with young people. He has served as a ward Young Men president, a counselor in bishoprics, high councilor, counselor in a stake presidency and president of the Ecuador Guayaquil North Mission. As a young man, he served in the Mexico North Mission.

Brother Ridd earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and has worked in a variety of business fields. A Utah native and resident, he owns his own investment real estate and securities company. He and his wife, Tamina, are the parents of four children.
