Ardeth G. Kapp, Young Women general president, and Dr. Cecil O. Samuelson Jr. were recently honored by BYU's Academy of Medicine for their service to humanity and to the medical field. Sister Kapp received the Collegium Aesculapium's Humanitarian Award for her service to youths from throughout the world. Dr. Samuelson, a member of the Holladay 18th Ward in Salt Lake City, Utah, was given the Robert H. Hales Distinguished Service Award for service in the advancement of medical science and medical education.
