Area presidency assignments

The First Presidency has announced new assignments in area presidencies worldwide, effective Oct. 1. Two new areas have been created, making a total of 20 areas throughout the world. The Mexico/Central Area was divided, creating the Mexico Area and the Central America Area; and the United Kingdom/Ireland/Africa Area was divided, creating the United Kingdom/Ireland Area and the Africa Area.Following are each area presidency, with the president of each area listed first.
