New stake presidencies

Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Council of the Twelve has created a new stake in Exeter, N.H., which includes the Portland, Portsmouth, Sanford, Somersworth, and Windham wards, and the Cornish Branch.

EXETER NEW HAMPSHIRE STAKE: (Dec. 2, 1990) Created from the Portland Maine, Nashua New Hampshire, and Concord Vermont stakes. President - T. Stephen Fotheringham, 54, salesman for Pendleton Woolen Mills, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, and bishop's counselor, married Darla Memmott. Counselors - John R. Holmes, 59, project manager for Polymer Tech. Corporation, former stake mission president, bishop and counselor, high priests group leader, and seminary teacher, married Hazel Marie Fairbanks; Jerry Reid Boggess, 46, executive vice president of Grinnell Corporation, former stake and ward Young Men president, bishop and counselor, and elders quorum president, married Portia Stevens.
