Elder L. Lionel Kendrick of the Seventy

Elder L. Lionel Kendrick of the Seventy created the Balanga Philippines Stake, which includes the Abucay, Balanga, Cupang, Hermosa, and Orani wards, and the Apollo, Mabatang, Mandama, and Samal branches.

Elder Kendrick also created the Camiling Philippines Stake, which includes the Camiling 1st, Camiling 2nd, Camiling 3rd, San Clemente, and Santa Ignacia wards, and the Mangatarem and Mayantoc branches.Elder George I. Cannon of the Seventy created the Rogers Arkansas stake, which includes the Anderson, Fayetteville, Rogers, Springdale, and Tahlequah wards, and the Berryville, Cassville, Grove, Huntsville, Siloam Springs, and Stilwell branches.

Elsewhere, stakes were reorganized in Chile, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Tennessee, and Utah.

CAMILING PHILIPPINES STAKE: (July 14, 1991) Created from the Camiling Philippines District. ROGERS ARKANSAS STAKE: (Aug. 11, 1991) Created from the Fort Smith Arkansas, Muskogee Oklahoma, and Joplin Missouri stakes.
