The approved Church logo . . . is restricted to official Church headquarters use. Stakes and wards may not use it on materials they produce.
The logo is to be used on official Church stationery for letters sent by Church leaders, including stake presidents and bishops, but stakes and wards should not attempt to imitate or recreate the logo on stationery by using computers systems or using type styles similar to the type used in the logo. The Church logo may not be used on stake or ward newsletters or directories or on building signs other than official meetinghouse signs.Improper use of the Church logo hampers the Church's efforts to register it as the official Church trademark.
