The First Presidency has announced the calls of eight more mission presidents. The new presidents and their wives will be assigned to specific missions later and will begin their service about July 1. Those called are:
Roger H. Ball, 52, Ammon 7th Ward, Ammon Idaho Stake; family relations inservice leader and troop committee chairman, former high councilor, stake mission president, bishop and counselor, ward clerk, activities committee chairman, Young Men president, elders quorum teacher, and Scoutmaster; owner of meat snacks company; earned bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Idaho; born in Rexburg, Idaho, a son of Harold Knowlton and Verla Dorthea Shippen Ball; married Marsha Anne Zundel, four children. She is a stake Young Women president, former Relief Society president's counselor, Relief Society teacher and mother education leader, compassionate service instructor, Young Women president and counselor, camp and sports director, Primary secretary and teacher; attended Ricks College and Washington State University; born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, a daughter of "J" Garth and Chloe Winger Zundel.Ronald E. Hall, 57, Hibbard 2nd Ward, Rexburg Idaho North Stake; bishop's counselor, former high councilor, bishop's counselor, ward finance clerk, Sunday School teacher, music director, and Scoutmaster; served in Central American Mission, 1955-58; self-employed property appraiser; earned bachelor's degree from the University of Utah; born in Rigby, Idaho, a son of Earl Clark and Eva Mae Stewart Hall; married Helen Winona Murdoch, 12 children. She is a ward publicity chairman, former stake Primary president's counselor, Young Women president, acitivities committee member, Relief Society president and teacher, visiting teaching supervisor, Primary president, teacher, inservice leader, and chorister, and den mother; ladies clothing store owner; earned registered nurse certificate from Idaho Falls Hospital School of Nursing; born in Emmett, Idaho, a daughter of Brigham Dallas and Helen Winona Murdoch.
Dave H. Jeppson, 57, Oakridge 3rd Ward, Farmington Utah Oakridge Stake; former high councilor, stake Young Men president, stake Sunday School president, bishop, and gospel doctrine teacher; executive vice president of health care company; earned bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and master's degree from the University of California; born in Murray, Utah, a son of Rulon Wilbur and Rubie Parrish Jeppson; married June Almond, eight children. She is a former Relief Society president, compassionate service leader, Young Women president and inservice leader, Primary president's counselor and chorister; earned bachelor's degrees from Weber State University; born in West Hartlepool, Durham, England, a daughter of Joseph Sidney and Ann Short Almond.
Merlyn K. Jolley, 61, Jordan River 7th Ward, South Jordan Utah River Stake; Sunday School teacher, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and counselor, elders quorum president, and Temple Square missionary; served in Northern California Mission, 1950-52; attended Weber College; retired phone company administrative supervisor; born in Elberta, Utah, a son of William Thomas and Elizabeth Melvina Jolley; married Jo Ann Amundsen, seven children. Paul R. Douglas B. William M. Howard F.
