New stake presidencies

Elder Horacio A. Tenorio of the Seventy has created the Florencio Varela Argentina Stake, which includes the Bosques, Claypole, Florencio Varela, Mayol, and Solano wards and the San Jose branch.

FLORENCIO VARELA ARGENTINA STAKE: (Aug. 22, 1993) Created from the Quilmes Argentina, Buenos Aires Argentina Monte Grande, and Buenos Aires Argentina Banfield stakes. President - Jorge L. del Castillo, 39, laundry business owner, former stake president, high councilor, stake Sunday School president, and branch president, married Olinda Beatriz. Counselors - Alberto Raul Ferreyra, 42, customs agent, former stake president's counselor, stake clerk, and bishop, married Juana Haydee Pohl; E. Jorge Carrasco S., 49, physician, former bishop, married Gladys Alvarado.

Counselors - Israel Rubalcauva L., 35, Church Educational System regional coordinator, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, district mission president, and Sunday School president, married Aracely Briones Jasso; Pablo Cardenas Fabian, 27, sales agent, stake Single Adult representative, bishop, and ward mission leader, married Eloina Fabian Lopez.

QUILMES ARGENTINA STAKE: (Aug. 22, 1993) President - Roger B. Clawson, 41, English school owner, succeeding Jorge Luis Del Castillo; former stake president's counselor, high councilor, and bishop and counselor, married Ester Edith Spehrs. Counselors - Juan Francisco Esponda, 66, photographer, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, bishop, and branch president, married Esther Esmoris; Domingo Pagliuca, 53, merchant, former high councilor, and elders quorum president's counselor and secretary, married Berta Zamudio.

SANTA FE ARGENTINA STAKE: (Aug. 29, 1993) President - Pedro Manuel Zapata, 30, electrician, succeeding Carlos Alberto Carlotta; former stake president's counselor, married Alcira Graciela Alvarez. Counselors - Mario Alberto Coronel, 40, horticulture administrator, former district president, bishop's counselor, elders quorum president, and branch president, married Lila Estela Gericke; Dario Ruben Juarez, 29, salesman, former stake president's counselor, high councilor, stake executive secretary, and bishop, married Susana Beatriz Corvalan.
