Married 70 years ago on Nov. 10, 1923, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and later sealed in the Logan Temple. They have lived in California since 1928. They owned several bakeries, which they operated for nearly 60 years. He was a Sunday School superintendent, youth leader and seventies president. She was a ward Relief Society president twice and YWMIA president. They served together on five stake missions. Members of the Pittsburg 2nd Ward, Antioch California Stake, they are parents of nine children. They have 33 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
