Enoch's son Methuselah was not taken with the City of Enoch into heaven "that the covenants of the Lord might be fulfilled, which he made to Enoch; for he truly covenanted with Enoch that Noah should be of the fruit of his loins. (Moses 8:2.)"
In Moses 7:51-52, the Lord promised Enoch that a remnant of Enoch's seed should always be found among the nations. That prophesy was fulfilled through Noah, Methuselah's grandson.
