James D. Maher, who served on the Young Men General Board in the early 1970s, died Nov. 24, at his home in Salt Lake City. He was 74.
He was in the Tabernacle Choir for 14 years and served on the Church General Music Committee. He retired in 1986 as a high school choral teacher. He and his wife, Rowena Romney Maher, are parents of three children.
