The ward music. . . chairman's responsibility [is] to see that music in ward meetings is effective and appropriate, approving proposed musical selections for sacrament meeting as needed. The chairman sees that music positions in the ward are staffed and that needed training is provided. He or she could help instructors in priesthood and auxiliary classes to select music that supports their lessons. . . .
Music for sacrament meeting should include prelude music, an opening hymn, a sacrament hymn, a closing hymn and postlude music.
