The Atonement is central to the gospel and can be compared to the hub of a wheel. All other matters are spokes at best.
Anyone can organize a church, but as the Master affirms, it will not be His church unless it is built upon His gospel. The true Church administers the gospel; salvation in this day and age will come through the convenants and ordinances administered and made available by the Church.Auxililaries, programs, policies and procedures - through inspired from heaven and essential for the everyday operation and expansion of the Lord's kingdom - are of efficacy, virtue, and force only to the degree that they encourage and motivate the Saints to trust in and serve the Loard and thus receive His matchless mercy and grace.
