Sunday morning speakers

Sacred music, sung at temple dedications, including the dedication of the Salt Lake Temple a century ago, was performed at the conclusion of the Sunday morning session, creating a memorable and touching experience for those present. The session concluded with "Hosannah Anthem," sung by the Tabernacle Choir, and "The Spirit of God," sung by the congregation. As the singing reached a crescendo, a wave of emotion swept the Tabernacle; many eyes were wet.

During the session, conducted by President Gordon B. Hinckley, first counselor in the First Presidency, the Tabernacle Choir also presented "The Morning Breaks," "I Need Thee Every Hour," "Lord, I Would Follow Thee," and "The Lord Is My Shepherd."Elder William R. Bradford of the Seventy offered the invocation, and Elder Cree-L Kofford of the Seventy offered the benediction.
