The First Presidency has announced the call of eight more mission presidents. The new presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. Those called are:
Salomon Jaar W., 31, to serve in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission; Barandillas Ward, Valle De Sula Honduras Stake; stake president, former mission president's counselor, stake president's counselor, high councilor, and elders quorum president; earned bachelor's degree in elementary education and also did post graduate work; Church Educational System coordinator; born in Potrerillos, Honduras, a son of Salomon Jaar and Elena del Carmen Welchez Vasquez Jaar; married Bertha Lucia Bueso R., three children. She is a seminary teacher, former Relief Society president and Primary president; attended the Academy of Art; born in Macuelizo, Honduras, a daughter of Augusto Cesar and Bertha Lidia Regalado Bueso.Marlin K. Jensen, 50, New York Rochester Mission; Huntsville 3rd Ward, Huntsville Utah Stake; member of the First Quorum of the Seventy, former regional representative, zone supervisor at the Language Training Mission, stake president, bishop and counselor, elders quorum president, and priests quorum adviser; served in Germany West Mission, 1961-63; earned bachelor's degree from BYU and juris doctorate from the University of Utah; former shareholder in law firm; born in Ogden, Utah, a son of Keith Grow and Lula Hill Jensen; married Kathleen Bushnell, eight children. She is a family relations teacher, former Relief Society president, counselor, and teacher, Primary chorister, nursery leader, and Scout leader; earned bachelor's degree from Utah State University; born in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Clarence Henry and Delma Nelson Bushnell.
Ross H. McEachran, 46, Nevada Las Vegas Mission; Sarnia Ward, London Ontario Stake; stake president, former high councilor, bishop and counselor, teachers quorum adviser, and Primary teacher; president and owner of propane company and co-owner of land development company; born in Sarnia, Ontario, a son of Harry John and Della May Attridge McEachran; married Linda D. Beatson, five children. She is a Young Women president's counselor, former stake Relief Society president's counselor and board member, ward Relief Society president and teacher, Primary president's counselor and teacher, and nursery leader; born in Sarnia, Ontario, a daughter of Leonard Roe and Constance Madeline Hill Beatson.
Denis R. Morrill, 54, Guatemala Guatemala City Central Mission; Bennion 2nd Ward, Bennion Utah Stake; bishop's counselor, former stake president and counselor, high councilor, Young Men president, and priests quorum adviser;
earned bachelor's degree and juris doctorate from the University of Utah; lawyer, shareholder, and president of law firm; born in Kingston, Utah, a son of Luther Cloyd and Bernice Hinton Morrill; married Michael Suzanne Williams, 10 children. Gordon C. Galen S.
