Faculty position for German language cataloger in Technical Services Division, available Sept. 1, 1993. Responsible for original classification and cataloging of books in the German language, as well as English language cataloging in a selected area. Also responsible for name, series and subject authority work in assigned area.Qualifications include an MLS degree from an ALA-accredited library school. Must be proficient in the German language and have a good working knowledge of AACR2, LC classification, LCSH and other standard cataloging tools. Must have special subject competency in one or more fields.
