The opening of a new exhibit on the centennial of the Salt Lake Temple boosted the March attendance record at the Museum of Church History and Art to an all-time high for the month.
"Even though the exhibit opened during the last week of the month, attendance for March was 25,360, which is 979 higher than the previous best March," said Glen M. Leonard, museum director.The exhibit, "The Mountain of the Lord's House - Construction of the Salt Lake Temple, 1853-1893" will be one of the museum's prime features through February 1994, said Brother Leonard, who added that the attendance for the first quarter of this year was 47,305.
