Pres. Vaira is a former president of the Italy Catania Mission, stake president, mission president's counselor and district president. The retired owner of a computer company, he attended Liceo College in Italy. He was born in Genoa, Italy, to Giovanni and Zelinda Casati Vaira. Sister Vaira is a former stake and district Relief Society president, counselor in a stake Primary presidency, and institute and seminary teacher. She was born in Genoa, Italy, to Angelo Vincenzo and Maria Caterina Callero Casazza.
