New temple presidents

Ralph O. Bradley, 73, Garden Heights Ward, Salt Lake Wilford Stake, called as president of the Washington Temple, succeeding Pres. David S. King. Pres. Bradley's wife, Mildred Harris Bradley, will serve as temple matron. A temple sealer, Pres. Bradley has served as director of Temple Square's visitor center, regional representative, stake president and bishop. He is a retired owner of a furniture store and attended BYU. He was born in Moroni, Utah, to William and Nida Hales Bradley. Sister Bradley is an ordinance worker and a former Relief Society president, Young Women president, and full-time missionary on Temple Square. She was born in Logan, Utah, to Franklin S. and Estella Spilsbury Harris.

Owen Dean Call, 59, Victorville 1st Ward, Victorville California Stake, called as president of the Guatemala City Temple, succeeding Pres. Richard D. Allred. Pres. Call's wife, Barbara Hulet Call, will serve as temple matron. Pres. Call, a regional representative, served as stake president, stake executive secretary, and bishop. A retired assistant superintendent of schools in Victor Valley, Calif., he graduated from BYU and did graduate work at California State University. He was born in Colonia Dublan, Mexico, to Charles H. and Hannah Skousen Call. Sister Call, a stake name extraction supervisor, is a former Relief Society president, Young Women president, and teacher. She was born in Rexburg, Idaho, to Albert F. and Vida Hill Hulet.Jay LeRoy Christensen, 65, Royal 1st Ward, Othello Washington Stake, called as president of the Boise Idaho Temple, succeeding Pres. Lloyd A Hamilton. Pres. Christensen's wife, Erma Wirt Christensen, will serve as temple matron. Pres. Christensen, president of the California San Diego Mission, served as regional representative, stake president, stake president's counselor, and bishop. He is a retired farmer, and was born in Shelley, Idaho, to LeRoy and Lucy Wilson Christensen. Sister Christensen is a former counselor to stake and ward Relief Society presidents and to a Primary president. She was born in Mediapolis, Iowa, to Julius and Mildred Getty Wirt.
