Each young woman is a beloved daughter of her Heavenly Father. By following the example and adhering to the teachings of the Savior, she can return to live with her Heavenly Father. Your [the Young Woman leader's] most important responsibility as herleader is to help her grow spiritually. The Young Woman Program is simply a tool to help you provide spiritual experiences, meaningful involvement, and caring relationships that will help her to "come unto Christ." (D&C 20:59.)
Prophets have told us that the young people of our day have been reserved for this time. They are a chosen generation, called by their Heavenly Father for this time and circumstance. They have special missions to perform for Him and prophecies to help fullfill.
