Show times, ticket lines changed for popular Church film 'Legacy'

Times for the showing of "Legacy" were changed Sept. 7, the First Presidency has announced.

The free, 53-minute film is now being shown at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m., noon, 1:15 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. in the Legacy Theater of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building - the former Hotel Utah - at the corner of Main Street and South Temple. There are no showings on Sunday.Ticket lines will now enter the Joseph Smith Memorial Building from the southeast door, placing the ticket line inside the building during inclement weather. Tickets will be distributed from the east ticket booth beginning at 8 a.m. The two ticket distribution locations on Temple Square and the west ticket booth in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building will open at 9 a.m.

The response to "Legacy" has been incredible, with more than 190,000 people having viewed the film since it opened on July 3, according to Missionary Department officials.

Reservations can now be made up to two months in advance by calling (801) 240-4383 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. MST Monday through Friday. No specific group size is required; however, no group seating is available the week before or after general conference Oct. 2 and 3. On Saturday, Oct. 2, "Legacy" will be shown at 8:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m.
