New stake presidencies

Elder Rulon G. Craven of the Second Quorum of the Seventy has created the Raromatai Tahiti Stake, which includes the Avera, Cumorah, Faaroa Baie, Tevaitoa and Viatape wards, and the Fare, Fareatai, Haapu, Maupiti, Uturoa, and Vaiaau branches.

Elsewhere, stakes were reorganized in Venezuela and Texas.

RAROMATAI TAHITI: (Dec. 5, 1993) Created from the Paea Tahiti Stake and the Bora Bora Lles-Sous-Le-Vt District. President - Michel Just Doucet, 49, carpenter, former high councilor, district president's counselor, branch president, and physical facilities representative, married Titaina Holman. Counselors - Sylvain Hauata Sinjoux, banker, former high councilor, district councilor, and branch president's counselor, married Vahine Terooatea; Didier Ani Teriihaunui, 31, former high councilor, stake clerk, stake missionary, and branch clerk, married Eileen Riro Karen Tetahio.
