Church News: Question of the week

What method did the Lord use to send the hordes of locusts into Egypt, and subsequently to carry them out, during that particular plague decreed by Moses before Pharaoh?

(Answer on page 13)

Here's answer to week's question

(From page 2)

After Pharaoh refused to free the children of Israel, "Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

"And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they. . . . (Ex. 10:13-14.)

After Pharaoh called Moses and promised to free the people, Moses went out from the ruler and "intreated the Lord."

"And the Lord turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt." (Ex. 10:18-19.)
