First Presidency telecast focus: Care for, protect, teach 'little ones'

The First Presidency satellite broadcast, "Behold Your Little Ones," will be telecast over the Church's satellite network on Jan. 23.

The 90-minute telecast, conducted by the First Presidency for all adult members of the Church, will focus on a renewed Church effort in which leaders and members are encouraged to care for, teach and protect the "little ones."The program will include addresses by a member of the First Presidency, a member of the Council of the Twelve and a member of the Primary general presidency. Excerpts of a new video production, "Teach the Child," will also be shown. The 23-minute video will be available at distribution centers sometime after the broadcast.

The telecast will begin at 6 p.m. (MST) and will be transmitted to more than 3,000 meetinghouses in the United States, Canada, Dominican Republic, Haiti, West Indies and Puerto Rico. Listeners can hear the telecast in 11 languages. "Behold Your Little Ones" will be re-broadcast over the satellite network at 8 p.m. (MST) the same evening and over KBYU Channel 11 at 8 p.m.
