Recently I made arrangements with my twin sister, Teressa Johnson, to go with me to some cemeteries to gather family history information. Her children, 14-year-old Amanda and 16-year-old Christopher, were going with us. Teressa, who is a single parent, and her children are not members of the Church. I thought this would be a good opportunity to share my testimony with them about the blessings of genealogy work.
As we were preparing to leave the house, a friend of Chris's called on the telephone. When she asked what we were going to do, Chris said, "My mom, sister, aunt and I are going to the cemetery to get dates."We all laughed, and Teressa said, "Chris, I know I haven't had a date in a long time, but I don't have to go to the cemetery to get one!"
