This is a glorious time of year, when we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Nearly two thousand years ago, shepherds, wise men, and angels heralded the beginning of Christ's perfect mortal life. His atoning sacrifice opened the way for all of us to return to our Heavenly Father's presence.
As we celebrate the Savior's birth, let us renew our acceptance of His invitation to "Come unto me," as recorded by Isaiah in the Old Testament, Matthew in the New Testament, and Alma and Nephi in the Book of Mormon. (See Isaiah 55:3, Matthew 11:28, Alma 5:34, and 3 Nephi 9:14.)We testify that Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior and Redeemer of the world, the light and life to all, and the source of hope for each of us!.
At this season of remembering, may we all live worthy of God's greatest gift - the life and mission of the Prince of Peace.
