The Savior's birth was accompanied by the appearance of a new star in the heavens. Judy Law, a member of the Springville (Utah) 8th Ward, based her pastel painting upon the fulfillment of a Book of Mormon scripture: "And it came to pass also that a new star did appear, according to the word." (3 Ne. 1:21.)
