Married 75 years ago on Feb. 9, 1919, in Salt Lake City, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Tooele, Utah, where he worked for the railroad for 20 years. For a few years, they operated a candy store and then purchased and operated a trucking company. He is a former mayor of Tooele. He has served in the YMMIA, and she was president of the YWMIA and taught in the auxiliaries. She has also written poetry. After his retirement in 1971, they enjoyed traveling. Members of the Salt Lake Monument Park 12th Ward. Parents of three children, they have 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
