1,300 attend symposium on Old Testament

More than 1,300 people participated in an Old Testament symposium at the University Institute of Religion in Salt Lake City Jan. 29.

Those attending the symposium, sponsored by the Church Educational System, had opportunities to hear 15 lectures offered by eight speakers from CES and BYU religious education.Frank Santiago, director of CES continuing education in Northern Utah, said this symposium is part of an annual series of symposiums offered to "help members of the Church and their friends in their understanding of the particular standard work of the Church being studied during the year."
