Serge J. Lauper, 92, a prominent northern California Church leader and president of the San Francisco Stake in the 1950s, died Feb. 14, 1993, in San Francisco, Calif.
He also served as bishop of the Sunset and Dimond wards and counselor in the San Francisco Stake presidency for 10 years. He later served as stake patriarch and sealer in the Oakland Temple.He was a businessman in San Francisco during his career.
