Most of a young man's activity time should be spent with his family. The family is the most important association a young man can have in time and eternity. Normally, the home is the best place for a young man to prepare for eternal life, learn to worship, share responsibilities and have recreation.
A young man reared in a home that provides a rich variety of worship, work, and recreation will likely be prepared for the blessings of life and the responsibilities of the Melchizedek Priesthood.
