Leland and Laura Hendrix

Married 70 years ago on March 15, 1924, in Ely, Nev., and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Lund, Nev., where he farmed until moving to Utah in 1958. He served in the community and as bishop's counselor and ward clerk. She served in the YWMIA and Relief Society. They filled a short-term mission in the Southern States, and later were ordinance workers in the Provo Temple for 15 years, where she continues to serve. Members of the Lakeridge 3rd Ward, Orem Utah Lakeridge Stake. Parents of five children, they have 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Adeline Edwards

Married 70 years ago March 14, 1924, in Salt Lake City and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked for Salt Lake City's water and parks departments for 40 years. They later operated a health food store. He seved as Scoutmaster and bishop's counselor, and she served in the YWMIA, Relief Society and Primary. They served as ordinance workers in the Los Angeles Temple and filled a mission to Australia. Members of the Twin Oaks Valley Ward, Escondido California South Stake. Parents of six children, they have 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchidren.
