To use the power of the Aaronic Priesthood, a young man must understand the teachings of the gospel and use them in his life. Through personal prayer, scripture study, quorum instruction and activities, and the examples of parents, quorum leaders, and members, a young man should learn the teachings of the gospel, increase his desire to live righteously, strengthen his testimony, learn to become a loving and contributing member of his family, and strengthen his home. Quorum activities should provide ways for him to put gospel teachings into practice.
