New stake presidencies

Elder Lynn A. Mickelsen of the Seventy has created the Vina Del Mar Chile Miraflores Stake, which includes the Las Maravillas, Lusitania, Miraflores Alto, Villa Dulce, and Villa Independencia wards.

Elsewhere, stakes were reorganized in Chile, and in California, Georgia, Idaho, Washington and Virginia.

VINA DEL MAR CHILE MIRAFLORES: (Dec. 19, 1993) Created from the Achupallas Chile Stake. President - Jorge Bernardo Toro Montecino, 31, taxi driver, former high councilor and bishop's counselor, married Kathy Sue Williams. Counselors - Luis Hector Fuenzalida Rojas, 55, military officer, former stake mission leader, bishop, and ward mission leader, married Emelina Lopez Achurra; Jaime Fernando Arancibia Massa, 32, computer programmer, former high priests group leader and elders quorum president, married Ivonne de Los Angeles Nunez Vega.

MARIETTA GEORGIA EAST: (Feb. 13, 1994) President - Steven L. Driscoll, 47, manager of nuclear power operations institute, succeeding Paul Andersen Snow; former stake president's counselor, high councilor, stake missionary, bishop, and Young Men president, married Nadine Thurston.
