Alden and LaVern Blain
Married 70 years ago on March 5, 1924, in the Manti Temple. They lived in Bountiful, Utah, for 31 years, and in Nephi, Utah, where they now reside as members of the Nephi 4th Ward. He worked as a forestry research technician for the U.S. Forest Service. He served as bishop's counselor and in other leadership positions and as temple ordinance worker. She was known for her singing, and performed many solos. She served in many callings in music, and as Relief Society president and counselor and in other auxiliaries. Parents of three children (two living), they have 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Melvin and Sarah Schvaneveldt
Married March 12, 1924, in the Logan Temple and lived in Logan all their married lives in the home were he was born. A farmer, he directed a Church welfare farm for 30 years, and served in water and cattle associations. He served in the YMMIA and high priests group. She was Primary president and counselor to three stake Relief Society presidents, and was active in community affairs. Both held sealing assignments in the Logan Temple for 20 years. Members of the Logan 7th Ward. Parents of five children, they have 29 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
