H. Donl Peterson, 64, former president of the BYU 15th Stake, died March 21, 1994. He was a professor of ancient scripture at BYU, teaching at the university for 39 years. He also taught seminary in Arizona and Utah, and was the institute director at Dixie College and Washington State University.
He wrote many articles, several books, and contributed to four Sunday School manuals for the gospel doctrine class as a member of Church writing committees.
