The mission of the Church provides direction to the work of the Aaronic Priesthood and the Young Men organization. Young men ages 12 through 18 can help accomplish the Church's mission through learning and fulfilling their Aaronic Priesthood duties and preparing to accept the additional responsibilities of the Melchizedek Priesthood. In this way they can also help to strengthen and bless their families and prepare for their own service as husbands and fathers. Aaronic Priesthood leaders should strive to ensure that each young man receives the benefit of proper and effective quorum organization, leadership and activities in attaining these goals.
