At the site where the Nauvoo Temple once stood, a crowd gathers during events commemorating the 150th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet Joseph Smith and his brother, Hyrum. On June 26, President Howard W. Hunter and his first counselor, President Gordon B. Hinckley, and Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Council of the Twelve addressed two gatherings in Nauvoo and another in Carthage, Ill., where Joseph and Hyrum were killed on June 27, 1844. Please pages 3, 6-10.
