Milestones of togetherness

Leslie and Freda Juchau

Married 70 years ago in the Logan Temple on Aug. 6, 1924. They farmed in Eden, Idaho, for the past 50 years. He served as bishop's counselor, ward clerk, high priests group leader and Sunday School president. She has been YMMIA president, Relief Society president, and teacher in auxiliaries. They served a full-time mission in Indiana and as ordinance workers in the Idaho Falls Temple. She enjoys sewing, and they enjoy gardening together. Members of the Hazelton 1st Ward, Jerome Idaho Stake. Parents of six children, they have 22 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Grace and Burnell Brown

Married 75 years ago on Aug. 6, 1919, and sealed in the Logan Temple four years later. He worked for the Amalgamated Sugar Company for 52 years, retiring as vice president. They lived in Utah, Idaho, Montana, California and Oregon, with the longest period in Ogden, Utah, from 1951-1991. Both have various Church callings, and have served as visiting teacher and home teacher for 70 years. Members of the Capitol Hill 1st Ward, Salt Lake Stake. Parents of two sons and a daughter, they have 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
