The Mormon Youth Chorus and Symphony is scheduling several concerts to celebrate its 25th anniversary. (See Feb. 26, 1994, Church News for feature on the organization.)
The first concert was held June 25 in the Salt Lake Tabernacle.Former symphony members are invited to come back and perform with the symphony during one of the 1994 concerts if they are able to meet the rehearsal schedule for that concert.
Twenty-fifth Anniversary Activities for the public during 1994 are listed below. Alumni interested in performing at a concert this year should contact the Mormon Youth Chorus and Symphony office at 240-2524.
July 24 - Weber State University, to be announced.
Aug. 10 - Salt Lake Tabernacle, 8 p.m.
Sept. 16 and 17 - Salt Lake Tabernacle at 8 p.m.
Nov. 25 - Salt Lake Tabernacle at 5:30 p.m.
Dec. 2 and 3 - Salt Lake Tabernacle at 8 p.m.
Dec. 9 - Provo Tabernacle at 7 p.m.
Dec. 14 - Salt Lake Tabernacle.
