What request did Gideon make after leading the Israelites in conquering their Midianite enemies?
(Answer on page 13)
Here's answer to week's question
(From page 2)
After Gideon led Israel to victory, he requested that those who had fought for Israel would give him "the earrings of [their] prey," which they willingly did.
"And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and seven hundred shekels of gold. . . ." (Judges 8:24-26.)
Gideon took the gold and made a medallion to adorn the priest's ephod. But Israel lusted and sought after it, "which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house." (Judges 8:27.)
