Married 70 years ago on Aug. 29, 1924, in the Alberta Temple in Cardston, Alberta. He taught school at Magrath and Cardston, and managed seven stores of the southern Alberta Co-op, and later managed a business in California. He served as a bishop's counselor, high councilor, and president of the Lethbridge Stake from 1951-60, and as president of the West Central States Mission 1960-64. She served as Primary president, YWMIA president, and counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency. Members of the Lethbridge (Alberta) 3rd Ward. Parents of three children, they have 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Married 75 years ago on Sept. 3, 1919, in the Salt Lake Temple, one of the three living oldest couples married there. After their marriage, he worked in mines, in the forest and in a sugar factory. He also operated a farm in Elba, Idaho, until he retired in 1975, after which he operated a fish pond for 15 years. He served as a bishop's counselor, elders quorum president and seventies group leader. She is known as a homemaker and for her cooking. She served as Primary and YWMIA president and stake YWMIA board member, and served on the Cassia County Planning Board. Members of the Elba Ward, Declo Idaho Stake. Parents of three children (two living) they have eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
