On the bright side

Last fall, our ward had several special fasts and prayed often for moisture in the coming winter months. Later in the winter, inches of snow had fallen as we made a lengthy visit to the grocery store. My children and I returned home on slushy, slippery roads.

We pulled into our neighborhood, already lined with 4-foot mounds of snow from previous storms. Driving was difficult and my nervous tension was rising. I asked the children to turn off their music so I could concentrate on getting home safely.Timidly, my 4-year-old son, Jeremy asked, "Mommy, did someone pray for snow again?"

Tension was eased, and we traveled the next few blocks safely to our home.
