President Howard W. Hunter will address full-time missionaries over the Church's satellite system on Tuesday, Sept. 13. The broadcast will originate from the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, and be telecast to selected meetinghouses in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti, West Indies and Jamaica.
President Hunter's address will be the first time a Church president has spoken exclusively to the missionaries over the satellite system. Only full-time missionaries are invited to view the broadcast.The Missionary Training Satellite Broadcast will begin with instructions at 9:30 a.m. MDT, and the main program will begin at 10 a.m.
The program will be transmitted in English, French and Spanish and will be closed captioned.
Video copies of the broadcast will be mailed to missionaries not within the satellite system area.
