A long life well-spent in the service of the Lord came to a close March 3, 1995, with the death of President Howard W. Hunter. Although President Hunter, 87, served as president of the Church just nine months, the impact of his presidency was profound. The quotation is from his April 1992 general conference address and was one of many expressions President Hunter made about the Savior during his nearly 35 years as a General Authority.
