To provide uniformity and give children a class identity, the Primary age-groups will have the following names: Ages 18 months through 3 years - Sunbeam; ages 4 through 7 - CTR; ages 8 through 11 - Valiant. Individual classes should be further designated by the number corresponding to the child's age at the end of the year (for example, a class for children who will turn 5 during the year would be called "CTR 5"). Class symbols or mottos are no longer used. Songs that have been used as class songs will still be sung in Primary.- Primary Handbook Supplement, June 1995
